How a Hidden Security Camera Guy Elder Abuse

I read a story the other day about an incident that happened recently inside an Alabama Nursing Home. The daughter of one of the residents was finding unexplained bruises on her near 90-year-old mother. She started asking questions at the Nursing Home and also got nowhere. So she made calls to state officials and got thin air. What a shock getting nowhere confident enough bureaucracy!

The daughter decided to take matters into her own hands and installed a hidden security camera in a female mother's room. As it absolutely was her mother died a couple of days later. It was only a few weeks after her single parent's death that she had a chance to look at the video and what she saw made him / her sick to her tummy.

She saw her mom's caregiver at the Nursing Home repeatedly assaulting, abandoning and neglecting her mama. The caregiver was grabbed on video removing the company's mom's oxygen mask without authorization and hitting the victim repeatedly.

About two months ago in Cleveland, Ohio when a son was visiting his sick mother during a Nursing Home he happened must her mother about a female medications. The mother pleaded ignorance and said that she didn't get medications. When he asked workers at the Nursing Home they within confirmed that she was supposed to be getting medications

He was curious the man installed a hidden camera in the room to find out what was going on. He found that the actual precise attendant was pocketing just about anything medications that were supposed to be given to his mommy.

These scenes are repeated across the country in every kind of each one Nursing Home, long-term care service, Assisted Living facility and other systems. Elder abuse has been documented to occur in six out of every 10 facilities that are made to care for seniors. Is also further been with the a recent GAO suggest that nine of every 12 Nursing Homes have employees with the applicant.

Physical abuse is or easiest type of elder abuse to document as there are signs of physical trauma that may be investigated. Neglect and emotional abuse are a lot more difficult to literary works. That is why the slightest change in mental settings or physical appearance cannot be ignored.

The two effective ways to prevent elder abuse are to install a hidden camera in the room and/or have family valued clientele and friends make frequent visits to the patient in the Nursing Home which keeps a watchful eye everywhere over the subtle changes.

Keep a close eye your elders in a Nursing Home having a hidden spy camera.
